Tried to grab a cuppa in The Galley cafe, but they don't like dogs. Saw the sign for Staithe and Willow cafe across the road welcoming dogs, so we took a look and boy was we glad we did. Food was excellent especially the bacon breakfast muffin with the best hash brown I have had. Staff were friendly and welcoming and you get a great view from the garden. We'll be back soon hopefully. We didn't stay away long at all, back again today. This time we had a Ploughman's and it was delicious, local food served very well. 2 days on a trot it must be good.
We were walking past this place, when we noticed a sign advertising fresh Cromer crab sandwiches. As I am a great crab lover, that was enough to tempt me, and that is what we both had. We ate in the pretty garden area, and when the sandwiches arrived, they were served with salad, and we're absolutely delicious! We then saw the cakes in the display cabinet and couldn't resist, so I had a slice of the salted caramel and my husband had a slice of the coffee and walnut. They were also delicious and huge! I would definitely recommend this place.
Exceptional. First of all, the location is great next to the river with parking for boats and cars. New proprietors who are really making you feel welcome. Had good coffee, breakfast and cake sitting in the garden in the sun in March. Toilet facilities are impeccable too. Everything you might want.
Quintessential English riverside tea rooms. Lovely views from the garden. Had coffee and scones for a very reasonable price. The outside metal chairs could do with a wipe down though in the dewy mornings.
Came across this delightful bistro and enjoyed superb food with delightful service all set in a country garden atmosphere. Very quaint and pretty.
Absolutely lovely staff & owner. Beautiful courtyard garden in which to watch the boats go by. Beautiful inside too. Food absolutely delicious. We had scones & then breakfasts. Favourite cafe. Very dog friendly. Amber enjoyed her sausage!
Beautiful place, great food. Great staff. Thank you for the great service Dog friendly apologies for the doggy on the couchFood: 5/5
Lovely tea room with very friendly and helpful staff, garden tables nicely placed and protected from wind. Went back a few days later for lunch and still excellent or even more so. Wheelchair accessibility: I'm not a wheelchair user but saw a couple enter and leave with no problem at all.
Excellent, lovely surroundings, building and location. Fast friendly service, good selection of courses and desserts. Chicken and mushroom pie freshly cooked, tasty with a good size portion, mash was good too. Lamb pie tasty too. Good size burger with cheese, bacon and egg, tasty, huge portion of chips. Coffee was nice, good size cup too. Carrot cake was delicious and fresh. Cozy inside with a lovely fire, fantastic views. Brilliant all round. Parking: Nearby
Highly recommend a visit. Staff extremely friendly, cakes are delicious our dog was even given a little treat of sausage by the lovely lady serving. Sat outside in courtyard, lovely setting by the water. 5 stars all round.
