Stagecoach is totally inadequate in the Canterbury area. I take the 43 regularly.nThe buses are very badly off scheduled times towards the end of their journey and it is impossible to predict if they might be very early, very late or cancelled. At two buses an hour this is absolutely unacceptable and inadequate. It would help massively if the stagecoach app updates were accurate but they mostly are not.nnThe service outward beginning from the bus station has definitely been more punctual recently, but if you arrive close to time of departure there is no way to find out if your bus is running late or has left bang on time.nIt can be extremely frustrating.nnGiven Canterbury is a historic city with traffic congestion problems and expensive parking fees, one would think that buses in this area would be more of a priority.nIt is very disheartening.
The service is very bad. Always late, sometimes too early and because the bus doesn't stop on the bust stop and is early I missed it many times. The price of the same journey is always different it is £1.90 or £2.70. I guess depends on the mood of the driver. The services are unreliable and should be replaced by different provider. Also, there is so little buses in the route in Whitstable, and talking about number 5, that it is better to get taxi or just walk half an hour. Give the route to someone else or make them more frequently, on time with not changing prices. Otherwise what's the point having the bus route.
The bus drivers themselves are really good!! : However, managerially: buses recently are always filthy seats and the app is unreliable a majority of the time. If a bus is cancelled, state it as such on the app. If someone has chronic pain and knows their bus is cancelled, they can potentially waste time in a warm shop! Rather than exacerbating their pain by standing in the cold, for example.
Bus driver closed his doors, and I waved to try and get their attention, but he did not stop. Poor, really poor.
Truly awful.nDirty, late and no WiFi which they say they have.nOne star for driving to the destination without crashing. Literally the one job they had to do
