Number 1 runs once an hour. Appalling in my opinion. They should run it more frequently. Still such a nice company with lovely drivers. lovely routes and lovely buses.
After all whats been going off with buses I do understand they are trying to get back to normal been told to always check on plan your journey to check for buses coming ! Which I do now all the time , having a taxi booked that never turned up I checked for next or last bus which said 11.36 granted a few mins later but never turned up when said there was one due at that time
Busses either later or don't turn up and you have an app that always says there are no Busses available in my area or tickets it's just so complicated to just get a bus... Trent Barton in Derby can do better
54a bus driver saw me waiting at Chesterfield bus station and drove off without stopping at the bus stop to pick me up!! When I was clearly standing at the bus stop. This is typical racism!!!!
These bus drivers do their best. Traffic is not always easy to deal with. And some passengers are rude at times. I couldn't bite me tongue like they do. So cut them some slack
Routes have been cut back due to covid, along with internal disputes and strikes making actual service delivery secondary to private issues.
The WORST bus company in Chesterfield. With, a poor bus service, untidy to travel on, bus drivers who look like tramps, go back to the old days when a bus driver always looked smart and tidy, buses always running late, and buses being taken off, so people have to suffer. Unhelpful staff, managers sticking up for driver's when you make a complaint, and drivers who always get away with thing's. The management is a total shambles. I made a complaint some time last month about a bus driver refusing me travel, I spoke to a woman manager at Stonegravels depot and as usual it's been pushed under the carpet and nothing has been done. But what's new, it seems because I have mental health issues and a new illness just recently the staff and managers don't give a toss. STAGECOACH YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. BUT ALL YOUR BOTHERED ABOUT IS MAKING MONEY OUT OF PEOPLE. I add to my review about StageJoke as I call them, Here comes summer, and yet again StageJoke let the passengers down again, but what a surprise??? From the 30th June 2019 the service 10 Chesterfield to Newbold gets a reduced service for the six weeks holidays!!!!!! So this means three buses every 15 minutes when the service is normally run with four buses every ten minutes, so this means yet another poor service, with the buses over crowded as StageJoke WON'T put bigger buses on and you end up sitting on Elder Way for ages before the bus leaves the stop!!!!!! When will this company ever learn? They make more stupid mistakes then anyone else does, why on earth does the route 10 service have to suffer every year? Yet they have the nerve to say "IT WORKS WELL" Well I'm afraid it doesn't, why don't you get off your backside and go out and ask the passenger's because there not happy about this either!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yet have you noticed how the route 54 the money making scam service never gets changed or say the X17, so why pick on the Newbold area. All you lot are bothered about is making money for yourself and the shareholders not the public. BRING BACK CHESTERFIELD TRANSPORT. At least they looked after the public and proveded a better service. You should be ashamed of yourself but sadly your not. TRENT BARTON WELGLADE LOOK AFTER THE PASSENGERS BETTER THAN YOU LOT DO!!!!!!!!! TAKE A LEAF OUT OF THERE BOOKS, YOU MIGHT JUST GET PEOPLE LIKING YOU LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The busses are really old and there are no power sockets, the WiFi isent the best and that's if you can connect to it, it used to come to my stop really late meaning I was late to college which my tutors are not to happy with me about
