Had a pleasant 16 hour stay here and I only have amazing things to say. They make sure all your valuables are kept safe and there is 24 hour security. You are checked on every 15 minutes to just make sure that the heating is working correctly and to ask if you'd like to see the menu. Free hot drinks available 24/7, friendly and helpful room service available. The only disappointing thing is that in my private on suite the TV seemed to have been stolen, maybe they were upgrading it? And I must say the beds are only singles, one of the other guests a few doors down was very noisy but you can't blame the establishment for that. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a free hotel for the night, everything is free of charge weather you work or not.
Had a lovely 11 hour stay with them, bed was ok, not the most comfortable I have slept on. I requested a pillow several times, I was told that I would get one but it never materialised. The staff are pretty friendly and were able to take a joke, which is a nice change from some other custody suites in the country. Unfortunately at the end of my stay I was made to wait in the freezing cold winter night for my lift to arrive, which wasn't very nice. I didn't try the food unfortunately as I have only heard negative reviews, including from the staff. There was a chap a few suites up from me who was being extremely noisy, and the corridors do echo a lot. Unfortunately no staff intervened with this, and it made the last 4 hours of my stay extremely uncomfortable as I couldn't get back to sleep. Would not recommend people willingly stay here, only really a last minute arrangement. 3 stars overall.
Transfer to the accommodation was delightful as accompanied by two hottie reps of her majesty.Booking in was over long but once in room I could enjoy my boutique minimalist gulag room which I was glad I chose as it gave me lots of time without modern distractions, plenty of activities to chose from colouring books ,magazines, foam football .Food was fine I chose the Italian option, but no garlic bread ? Overall would definitely recommend watling street to someone I dont like.
Had a rather pleasant 13hr stay here the beds aren't the best definitely need extra padding and no tv or view to look at. The staff are friendly checked in on me every 15 minutes to see if i needed anything. The food was ok the pizza was my favourite its stone baked too. Prices they can't be beaten appear to be free with a free photo taken too and dinner bed and breakfast can't go wrong really.
Allowed me to sit on the grass in the sun and get some shots of the patrol cars leaving
They offer free overnight stays in your own private room and breakfast is included. The helpful staff take your valuables and lock them away for safe keeping How thoughtful is that? They aim to cater for your every need. There's free support and counselling for your drug and alcohol dependency, they will even help you with your mental health issues. There are also breath and blood screening facilities on site and you even get to make a free call to a person of your choice. The rooms are very sparse and storage is limited, but that doesn't really pose a problem because they take everything from you when you book in. If you tell the kind man on the desk that you're going to set your hair on fire and jump from a high building, he smiles and some of his friends help you take off all of your clothes then they give you a pair of big shorts and a T shirt made of something similar to kevlar. They then look in to your room every 15 minutes through a handy hatch that all the doors seam to have. It's very reassuring. All in all, the prices can't be beaten as it all seems to be free. The staff are great. The rooms are small and there are no sea views. It would benefit from a lick of paint.
The government are to blame for which is now Very poor service they closed all the stations and left 2 open which is a 40 min drive to Tamworth what a joke and then no of the officers want to listen to what there being told as its to much hassle for them it's one force you carnt trust with for any help any more not Evan and numbers for the custody sweet at Gailey to contact anybody can no longer rely on them
I was taken in 3weeks ago, I have several problems right now. I can not fault any of the staff on duty that night, they were very respectful of my needs and understanding. Kind regards to you all
I have to disagree with Warren, I didn't get breakfast and the water tastes like Squirrel pi**, no mini- bar or TV in the small rooms either, staff were pleasant enough but the corporate uniform could do with an update, not sure if the window dimensions meets emergency fire exit regs either, tried to leave a review on Trip Advisor but it wouldn't let me !
Thanks to them thay keep all safe
