What an amazing place! The Doom mural has been fabulously restored and is now quite breathtaking. Delightful volunteers give you all the info you could wish for. The photos dont give it justice, pop in and visit!
Place of quiet reflection. The Doom painting was preserved by the puritan reformation who whitewashed it, allowing us to see it in alloys glory. Not what they had in mind.
What an amazing interior, the Doom painting above the isle is amazing. The volunteers of the church were extremely knowledgeable and courteous.
Lovely old church tucked away in the heart of Salisbury. Not far from the Poultry Cross. Light and airy due to big windows. Fantastic tree festival every December, worth a visit. Don't just visit the cathedral, come to St.Thomas & St.Edmund's. Fabulous acoustics.
Lovely church. Much to see in the interior. Beautiful wall paintings and stained glass window. I would very much like to return to this church, one day. Along with visiting Salisbury cathedral.
Beautiful and historical church. Amazing doom painting. Definitely worth a short visit.
Beautiful, historic and fascinating church. I understand the services are well attended. The Doom scene is wonderful but so is the ceiling and the wooden frieze and the beauty of the stonework. Look for the little door to the apothecary's tower!
This historic church has an open light airy feel. The DOOM PAINTING is well worth scrutinising. The tower clock has mechanical men to ring the quarter hours. It is the parish church for the centre of Salisbury and older than the Cathedral.
