Wonderful house and garden. Having a guide was unusual for NT but really informative.
A lovely National Trust house in the heart of the city within the cathedral close. A lovely well appointed house with knowledgeable staff. The tea room in the garden is excellent. There is also a small shop.
only the downstairs open currently and limited furniture to keep distancing so although nice rather underwhelming currently
You can hide from the rain in the garden room for a drink. One decent latte in a romantic surroundings. The tea ladies are wonderful. So is the property.
A lovely genteel house to wander and enjoy the history
A delightful Queen Anne house on a very human scale. Particular friendly and helpful room guides. The garden lovely too, a brilliant visit.
As any National Trust place, highly recommend to visit. The volunteers are very knowledgeable, providing lots of interesting information and the exhibition brings the house to life.
