Story

St Peters Parish comprises three church communities that express God's love in a variety of ways, not least by providing a home for different groups: pre-school children, young people, celebration events and more.
Right at the heart of what we are about is helping people know God in their own experience, especially through prayer and worship.

Friendly welcoming church with nice staff. Largish, carefully arranged for Covid protection. Nicely furnished. No car park, clearly not anything the church can remedy, but should be considered. On street parking available for a few cars.
Amazed at how warm it was inside on a cold frosty day outside. Very clean toilets and spacious foyer. Beautiful church inside. The two ministers were truly excellent in accommodating the wishes of the bereaved young family. The pews were all well upholstered, with additional cushions. If I lived in Belper I would go there regularly.
I attended a brass band concert there. I had a nice seat next to a radiator. There are a reasonable number of toilets. I am disabled and walking in from my own car would have been a challenge due to lack of nearby parking, but I used a taxi.
Went to see the ELO tribute band there last Saturday night. It was great and absolutely packed. Doubt there would be so many on the Sunday morning. Excellent venue for a band.

I’m the Yank in The Churchyard I visited in 2018 autumn and spent two weeks cleaning and tidying this churchyard also carefully cleaning and photographing interesting Grave markers ... I am now back in the states and I’m hoping to get a picture of a marker just simply Marked ET !!! It’s situated next to the memorial garden behind the east Window . In anyone can help me please send picture on messenger To Glenn P Bell .... Many Thanks

Beautiful historic citycentre church that does super work for its citizens.
As someone who is irreligious, I deem it a great performance venue, in light of the production of Bloody Mary and the John Tams concert. It also has a very good recycling scheme.
I was here for an evening concert, what a lovely building with great acoustics.. excellent
