The Parish Church of St Peter the Apostle in St Peter-in-Thanet is a large Grade II* listed Victorian restored church dating in parts to the 14th century. Although the interior is impressive with painted 19th-century barrel ceilings, walls and arches, the flint-walled exterior I find oppressive. A real draw for this church is the churchyard, the largest in Kent, with impressive monuments and tombs, some in areas romantically overgrown, often with wild flowers.

Lovely little church so peaceful. But don't think they should of cleared away the Graves. Its place where people go to remember there loved ones
