Historic church linked back to the historic Norman Carrickfergus Castle of the 1400’s, with some original stonework still in place.
Awesome link with history, beautifully designed and maintained. This is an integral part of the town's history. Well worth a visit. Tour guides make it come alive. Fabulous way 2 step back in time. Magical experience.
The only medieval church in use in Ulster. A must-see for any historians. The church has limited opening times, so it would be best to contact the church first, so as to avoid disappointments. Some beautiful stained glass as well, and one of Ireland's largest church monuments.
A beautiful church. Steeped in history. Well worth a visit/guided tour. Ministers are both lovely.
My sons wedding was here such a beautiful church well worth a visit i do beleive you can do a tour of it.
Take a guided tour if possible round this historic church to find out it's hidden nooks and facinating features. Well worth the effort.
I have been attending this church since 1971 and love the old building and it's history over 800 years service.
A church steeped in prayer and people who have gone before us, truly a beautiful church with a history that matches its beautiful interior <3
Attended for a funeral. Lovely atmosphere. Nice church bells ringing
