Enjoyed a really convivial and tasty meal at St Moritz this evening. Very friendly and professional sevice throughout, reasonable prices, cosy decor and truly delicious and indulgent food. My pals enjoyed their frogs legs and pate to start. My French onion soup was a treat. The fondue was terrific. No room at all for dessert, alas. Wouldn’t hesitate to return!
Well, 1st of all, I called to make a booking around 12 for 3pm, it was confirmed, 14h45, I call again to postpone the booking to 16h, the waitress on the phone there indian tells me that the chef is having his break and we are fully booked for today which didn't make any sense and extremely unprofessional. 50 mins later my wife calls and she mysteriously manage to find a booking at 17h. We get there, and guess what, we were literally alone, a couple came after, that's it !!. For the raclette, we have the first choice which came just with bread, no sense ! Guys I had many raclettes in my life, it waa from really far the most DISGUSTING one of my life !!! We asked for extra mushrooms and potatoes, guess what !!, the mushrooms were disgusting, no idea how they did to make them untasty. And we paid 17£ for them !! And 7£ for the potatoes. Guys avoid at all costs !!! TOTAL RIP OFF
Amazing fondue experience! The food was tasty and portion size was quite generous. The interior of the place was also quite nice and cozy; though the place will leave a smell on your clothes.Food: 5/5
Food was less than average. Staff was not any better. We ordered starters with the first staff, time to figure out what main we should order. Then second staff got angry with us for not ordering all at the same time. If you want any of the fondue they force everyone at the table to also order the same. My food arrived frozen. And once I have informed them they made sure it was not frozen by overcooking the food so it was disgustingly chewy. Cheese quantity and taste is to laugh for, especially at the given cost. DO not recommend this Place. DON’T waste your £ here.
We walked past this place several times and decided to try it. We were seated right away. The menu looks extensive, and we both order veal. I had the veal with mushrooms and white sauce with rosti on the side. My friend had pan-fried and salad on the side. The veal I had was tough, and so was his. The rosti was small and greasy. We had to ask for dressing for the salad, the waitress didn't understand at first. The dessert was not great either and overpriced. The atmosphere was nice; however, the food was disappointing.
We always wanted to try Fondue but it wasn’t a very happy experience. Waiters were not very helpful and the melt cheese in the pot actually not as tasty as we thought. The bread in the basket were not fresh. Price is high regarding the quality of food and service. I better get my own cheddar cheese on the toast at home. We won’t go back again.
Great fondue, very generous portions. The food is a bit pricy but normal for the location. Service however could be improved- the waiter brought two dishes at the same time and when we asked which dish was beef he didn’t know. Overall a nice place and would return!Food: 5/5
Delicious fondue, really friendly staff. Central location. Pricey but it is right in the middle of soho.Food: 5/5
Was a great lunch out. The staff were amazing and helpful seeing as we were the first through the door. A small but comfy restaurant doesn't feel crowded with a lovely Alpine feel. The food was lovely. The Pate was quite rich so but still very nice. The prawn cocktail was well made and they weren't stingey with the prawns. Our main of the vegetable fondue was nice and the vegetables were nicely prepared. Will be returning to try out the different options on the menu.
Been craving Swiss cheese fondue since I went to Switzerland, and this place took care of me! We got only the cheese fondue, which left us completely full and satisfied. Highly recommend for Swiss cheese fondue in London!Food: 5/5
