It was my first time here for Ash Wednesday as the Mass was at 12pm. It's a nice church with a lot of history. I was enjoying the Priests Homily but unfortunately it was cut short due to him being distracted. I will attent this Church again in  the future.

A beautiful Church with great architecture. The church also conducts syro- malabar service which is great for people from India especially the southern part.

This is an old but magnificent church. It hold many occasions like: Baptisms, Holy communion Marriages and etc. It is 200 years old and still standing and us a beautiful church. It is that good I send my son alter serving there.

Lovely church and excellent priest Fr Johnson. Its one of a very few Catholic churches open for Mass in the area. This is because the volunteers have agreed to help. Sunday Mass at 9am and weekdays at midday except Tuesday.

I came to Wigan 21 years ago from Southport. I attended a few churches over  a year or so . Not realizing the wonderful St Marys Catholic church was only 3 streets back from where I lived.  I absolutely love that you can light candles for loved ones/anyone in your own time then sit and reflect,   this is such a great blessing that I never take for granted!  For me it creates a calming inside I ALWAYS leave feeling better,  more peaceful than before I entered the building! I've taken many tears  in and brought many smiles out.  I pray St Mary's will always be my haven my safe place for the rest of my days and Father Johnson has the strength to  carriy on doing a wonderful job. Cannot believe he is still working!
