Story

We are a Church of England parish church in Thame. Our vision: to be a community in Thame that knows and loves God and shares with joy the love of Jesus Christ.

We meet every Sunday in the church building but also during the week in small groups in homes.

We also have regular children's and older people's activities, and men's breakfasts, as well as many seasonal events.

We meet regularly on a Sunday for the following services:
08:00 Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion
10:00 Family Service (Communion on the 2nd, 4th)
16:00 Evening Prayer
18:30 SIXthirty service

Thursday
10:00 Holy Communion (first and third Thursday of the month only)

Beautiful and serene walk near the church. A few more strategically placed lights outside would help in the  winter months.

St Mary's is an Impressive church, the bell tower has an access stairway on the outside.

Hard to review a church when they're fundamentally all the same. I attended a wedding here recently and it went without a hitch. The vicar seemed pleasant enough and was not overly sanctimonious, which made everyone feel comfortable. The church is easy to get to, with plenty of street parking spaces available, and the outside of the building makes for some great photos.

Fascinating town church which is the last resting place of Baron John Williams, founder of the town's then Grammar School.
