I phoned the surgery at 8.20 this morning, waited less than 5 minutes to speak to someone. I spoke to a lovely lady who got my urgent medication approved for me today. Thank you so much.

I went for the first time to have a cervical smear yesterday and firstly it’s so nice and clean and light in this surgery! Then Anne Perry was the best nurse I’ve ever experienced, she was so kind, caring, made me feel so comfortable and she’s also funny which lightens the mood! She’s been doing it for 30 years and she’s got it mastered. I hope to have her again in 3 years time!

My husband & I, along with our young family, joined this practice when we moved to the area 18 months ago. In that time, when we have needed to make appointments for ourselves or our daughters, the online patient access has worked really effectively & we’ve been seen, or telephoned, by lovely staff very quickly. It was always quite tricky to get through to anybody if you needed to on the phone but that has really, really improved recently. Yesterday, my oldest daughter had a very high temperature after a weekend of being very poorly & in and out of out of hours. I rang the surgery at 8.40 & after a 5 minute wait got through to a really helpful member of admin staff who put in our request to see a GP. 10 minutes later, they had rung back with an appointment for 9.30. By 9.50, we were heading home with the antibiotics we needed. Faultless care, gorgeous staff - thank you.

I have to say that the 'Patient Access' method of logging in works well for repeat prescriptions.nBut also the 'I'd like medical advice/ request an appointment ' tab that you meet when you first click on the website works really well.nI left a message this morning about a medical concern with my details.nI was phoned by the surgery within 2 hours and was seen by a doctor within an hour of the call.nIt works well.

I don’t know what everyone else’s experiences of GP’s are considering their reviews, but I registered here from another GP in Worcester and the difference is night and day, I feel that here they actually go out of their way to help me and try and get me seen as soon as possible every time without fault and they go above and beyond. You can’t fault the reception team here at all, along with the nurses and doctors they have been nothing short of perfect. At my old GP I could never get an appointment and many times I had situations that constituted an emergency appointment but was told by their receptionist that it doesn’t constitute one. That doesn’t happen here at all, I haven’t felt let down by St John’s medical centre once. Thank you for everything you guys do.
