No one answers the phone !! My husband has been trying all morning just to speak to someone to make an appointment ! No joy. By the time youve listened to the messages, put in your date of birth in the required format, been told you're number 3 in the queue for at least ten minutes ,you've lost the will !! You're ringing because you're ill !!!!! Best thing I ever did was to change doctors!!! No problem now !!
This GP surgery operates in a way that feels unnecessarily complicated compared to others I've used. I followed their preferred process by completing the online triage system via the Nunwell Surgeries website, only to receive a text 10 minutes later instructing me to call the surgery instead.nnIt’s worth noting that GP practices in England are now legally required to offer online access for patients to request appointments and services throughout the day. Unfortunately, this surgery doesn’t seem to fully comply. Their current system is clunky and doesn’t prioritise patient convenience. A few years ago, they offered a far more user-friendly online booking system where you could choose your GP, date, and time—this was genuinely patient-centred.nnNow, for the average working person, booking or arranging anything feels unnecessarily difficult. Whenever I visit, there are only a few people in the waiting area, which makes me wonder: where is the demand being managed? It’s time for this surgery to make appointment slots fully available online, as required by law.nnAdditionally, I’ve had instances where I was given sample bottles for urine tests but never received any feedback, which makes me question whether they were even processed. I’ve also been told that late afternoon appointments are released at lunchtime, only to call at the advised time and be told none are available.

A great drs surgery. Staff have always been very helpful
Friendly reception staff, smiling nursing team and doctors who make me feel at ease. I am always able to get appointments for myself and my family. I have attended regularly over the last decade for regular blood tests etc, flu vaccines, all of which have been straight forward with minimal wait and service with a smile. I can't thank you all every single team member enough and feel extremely lucky to have Nunwell as my local GP practice.
