A lovely morning out. Something for everyone. Nice walk for dogs . Feeding the ducks and swans was the highlight for my nieces I like that there are signs discouraging feeding bread. The playground is great too. Lots of woodland paths to explore. Usually an ice cream van in the car park x
I love going here and never get bored. There's a fantastic play area for kids and adults a lovely cafe and picnic area. The lake is lovely to walk around and lots of trails to get lost on. There's normally an ice-cream van too. They only thing I'm not keen ilon is the toilets I feel they could be a little better
Wonderful place to visit, with plenty parking, good walking areas including places to feed duck and swans, a separate play and toilet area as well as good views. Be careful on a rainy days as paths get too muddy and slippery, so good walking boots should help. There’s also the estate to visit, and it’s surrounded by golf courts in case one wants to see how the rich live. Also has maps and directions guiding you. Take your dogs for a fun evening out.
it's very nice place for visiting especially on the summary you can enjoy it.
Relaxing, great place to take your little dog and best friend. Great 1 hour walk Restrooms: Toilets at lower carpark and tea roim/coffee shop Dog-friendliness: Good variety of places.
Favourite place to feed the ducks. Lovely play park. Always clean. Night time there’s loads of frogs about. My children love the adventures in the woods.
Wonderfully place to bring your dogs for varied trail. Please round it off with a visit to The Ivy Kitchen, fabulous tasty food and coffee! Dog-friendliness: .Fab walks both on and off lead in places.
Absolutely gorgeous. Great place for walks bike rides a.nd golf. Excellent playgroung too
Lovely place to go for a walk. There are different routes around the grounds and a decent play park for kids. We walked in the woodland, up past Lady Blantyre's Rock and back down via the public footpath between both sides of the golf course. Our walk was about four miles, but you could easily do a shorter walk here, or one that is slightly longer. It's £1 to park for up to two hours in the main carpark area and there's also toilets near the park. Would recommend a visit if you fancy a walk/ want a decent play park for the kids. *been back a few times. Fnce with my nieces where we saw the birds, ducks and swans and visited the playpark. They really enjoyed their few hours here. Second time we had a look for the sculptures. To be honest we only found a few so they're either missing or hidden! Great to visit the pond and bird hide though.
Very dense and tiring walk, lots of habitat's. Clean, pet friendly and kids friendly walk. There is a golf course, kids play area and a small pond, you can feed the ducks, only seeds and corns. Highly recommended
