A very decent sized area of woodland, very popular with dog walkers and hiker's. Went for a quick walk to stretch the legs, didn't realise how big it was and came back 3 hours later. But enjoyed every bit of it.

Beautiful place to visit. Great children's playground. Lovely lake with ducks and swans which you can walk round.Lots of paths and woodland to explore .Cafe serving take away coffee,snacks and cakes which is very welcoming on a cold winter's afternoon.

Brilliant playground and woods. It has been incredibly crowded during lockdown so need to arrive early on the weekend if you need to park.

Great place to take the kids. Great park and pond as well as good walks with plenty of wildlife.

Very pleasant place for a walk either short or longer. Mostly off tarmac so you need sensible footwear and the parking is often in short supply

Fantastic walks in varied landscape, woodland, moorland, fields, farmland and great views. Good children's playground, bird watching hides, lake and even an archery club. Plenty of parking and a decent cafe.

Has a great kids park and a cafe on site. Perfect for a spring or summer day.

Such a gorgeous place for either a woodland wander, a leisurely lakeside saunter or exploring the equipment on the adventure playground. All free and can be topped of by delicious treats from the cafe sells duck food too. Plenty of parking at either end and absolutely a favourite with all in our multi generational family ages
