I photographed a wedding here a few weeks ago and i've been absolutely taken away by the gorgeous interior here. Such a beautiful church, and perfect lighting.
Very impressive church from the outside. I have never been in it but have visited the quaint church hall several times for classes.
I regularly attend this church. Given the current CofE controversies, I think it's important to say that St George's is inclusive for LGBT people and supports gay marriage in church.
Beautiful place, and in the very centre of a busy area. Well worth visiting for the decoration, which must be unique.

A very beautiful church and made very welcome by congregation
Its distinctive tower is a landmark that's visible for miles around. Inside, a lovely arts-and-crafts style of architecture and lighting. Used for community events as well as the usual church stuff.
One of the larger churches in Newcastle, kind of located out of the way. However, with Osborne Road super busy with tourists, some of those tourists might consider having a look at this place. For the few that do, it will not be a disappointing experience.
