I booked a spa day, including a 50 minute treatment and lunch in the Tavern with a friend. We were a little late but thanks to the staff it didn't affect our pool and relaxation time as they allowed us the full time slot anyway.n- The treatments and massage therapist were amazing. Absolutely loved the facial. Had a little chat and asked the necessary questions to aid a better experience!n- Lovely clean changing rooms and showersn- Towels and robes provided.n- Only thing I would recommend is extending the allocated time allowed in the pool as you have to factor in getting changed and then getting out for you treatment in our case, meaning we didn't get much time in there.
Due to staffing issues, we could only have 1 treatment instead of 2, though they did want to cancel and reschedule, that wasn't an option for us. We enjoyed the time we had there.
Went to pool area was freezing far to cold to go in. Sauna wasn't working jacuzzi wasn't working.so we sat on wet cushions by the pool was very cold for 35 minutes. Had a facial which was nice and relaxing. Relax lounge we needed a blanket as also cold. So our spa day was a facial and lunch which was a starter worth £8.50... wasn't nowhere near worth near 70 pound more like 40 at a push. Had the sauna or jacuzzi been working would have been better. Wasn't warned before hand that we weren't getting what we had paid for. Should have been offered a refund . Only got 2 stars that was for the facial
Definitely not more than 3 star. Lovely setting, booked for morning session pamper experience which is use of the pool for an hour, 75 minutes of treatment and light lunch. I enjoyed the treatments from Simone the therapist who was very nice. However, it all seems a bit rushed, by the time you book in and get changed for the pool you’re losing time, then you have to allow time as you have to get dried and changed to go for treatments so in effect you only have around thirty minutes of pool time. The relaxation room isn’t very relaxing either, as you can hear children playing in the pool which doesn’t make for a relaxing experience. The receptionist looked very unprofessional, no uniform just scruffy tie dye vest top, sitting with her headphones in and on her mobile phone. This is not a place I want to visit again.
Booked quickly and smoothly online.nnBack, neck and shoulder massage was fabulous. 30 minutes as advertised. My therapist was attentive, considerate about the pressure and personable.nnI would 100% recommend and will definitely return again.
