It is a beautiful church it is surrounded with stained glass designed and worked by Pugent the same as St Chads Birmingham The ceiling is hand painted it has a very good choir and an organ also an organist it has the two naives one to the sacred heart of Jesus and the other is to our Lady The walls are hand painted and the nuns that were at St Joseph's convent designed the work it also has a little shop inside the church open on Saturday evening and Sunday at both masses

St Austin's is one of the main Catholic churches in Stafford it has benefitted from a sympathetic refurbished to repair some of the overseer VatII changes.
