This is a beautiful church dating back to 1190. Has undergone many changes, in 1593 the spire on the octagonal tower collapsed causing much damage. George Gilbert scott performed a restoration of the church which was finished in 1844. This church is traditional but not to formal. A day is not long enough to take in all the interesting architecture . The font is supported by animals and figures of people it is believed this may be older than the church itself. If you are an Angler like myself there is a bust of Izaak Walton plus other interesting artefacts. Children and Families are important to this church and the children's choir is always looking for new members. There is a supervised play area plus toilets and a changing area. There are various guide books and hand outs to help you discover some of this churches treasures. I would urge anyone to pay a visit. You will be met with warmth and a friendly welcome as I was.

A quite gorgeous church to visit, with friendly people there. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. A wonderful place to visit.

Beautiful Church with lovely peaceful grounds. Nestled right in the heart of Stafford. It's a magical place.

An elegant enduring church in the heart of the town. It drips history and atmosphere. Slightly odd to see people enjoying picnics in the Churchyard where almost all gravestones were removed. They're still lying on top of bodies which is odd to remember.

Lovely scenic Church with nice grounds around it, very pleasant in the summertime to sit down on the grass and enjoy your surroundings.
