Just had slight donk on the head looked at, needed the cut glued. From booking in to treatment only took 15 mins, staff were great, very friendly and professional. A brilliant service as ever, thank you.
The staff were great, however this hospital doesn't seem to suit individuals with neurodiversity. The noise was horrendous, staff walking in and out constantly with metal trolleys bashing into eachother walking through the waiting area. This was extremely distressing to the individual I was with who is neurodiverse. A hospital should be a safe space for all, however this does not make it a safe place for all. :
Staff were excellent on the two consecutive days I had to visit A & E. From reception all the way to treatment. Thank you so much.
Very pleasant small Hospital, extremely clean... when I arrived I was greeted by a very helpful receptionist, who took my details without delay. She asked me to take a seat and a practitioner nurse would be with me shortly, I was called within a couple of minuets by Nurse Hobbs, She was without doubt one of the nicest medical professional I’ve ever met. She was kind and reassuring she examined me and asked many questions, and she listened to me, I couldn’t of felt more cared for. Nurse Hobbs gave me relevant advise and treatment. Felt lots better on leaving. My whole experience was exceptional. This is The NHS at its very best. No one wants to visit hospital by choice but if you have to you couldn’t be any better looked after than I have been today. Icing on the cake well cared for car park with plenty of spaces right outside the main entrance, And wait for it... it was free of charge.
Received excellent care from the Unit when our toddler needed care for a small but initially worrying head injury while visiting family in St Austell a few weeks ago. The nurse & student nurse were brilliant with him. Together, they made a hysterical little boy 'help' them to patch him up, which worked wonders! Thank you for your help & care!
Visited here on the 26th & 27th October with my partner, who broke her ankle. The staff and nurses were absolutely fantastic, brilliant service, very bubbly and putting my partner at ease, an absolute credit to the NHS.
Had to attend today because my pet snake had bit me on the hand and the visit there was about 5.45 in the afternoon. Was directed to minor injuries department by a very helpful man who was a cleaner I think. On arrival I went to reception and was met by a helpful reception staff taking my information and instantly was called in and was assessed by a helpful triage staff. Then onto a nurse who dressed my wounds. Every member of staff gets 5 stars from me and a big thank you and the highest level of respect. You are all the pride of our country. Hospital was very clean and parking was easy. In total from stat to finish was about an hour.
I had a ring stuck on my finger. It have rotted over a month of pain and agony. John cut the ring off. The nurses were amazing. And pretty. They dressed it and made my holiday happy. Bless them all. Some of the N. H. S. finest at their best. Thank you. Rob Lane.
Phoned the hospital direct after getting nowhere using 111 and the help they gave us was fantastic. Special thanks to Jeanette who went above and beyond what we expected
My elderly father received very patient and thorough care during his two week stay. The doctors and nursing staff in the Heligan ward dealt with his final days to provide dignity for him and support for the family for which we are very grateful.
