To give a balanced response to the above review I would like to point out that no formal booking was ever made regarding the occasion you have 
mentioned.It was an arrangement made via yourself and a third party, and therefore for that reason the standard booking procedure did not occur.
   If the booking had been made correctly via direct contact with myself,the following would have occurred ;
On delivery of the room booking deposit i would have provided you with a form to complete re your name,address,contact numbers,booking details etc. I then would have arranged a date for you to collect the keys from me and pay the final balance as procedure.You then would have been given a form of room booking conditions and i would have arranged return of the keys with you. 
   The running of the Church along with the room bookings are all voluntary roles provided by members of St Andrews, therefore I am not "staff" it is a role i have undertaken for the past twenty two years,which i feel is ample "experience", in that time I have never had a complaint and i do feel that if the booking had been made .directly with me that you wouldnt have experienced the problems you have highlighted in your review. I hope this goes some way to explain the issues you raised .

Lovely room but trying to book and confirmation is horrendous no communication from the lady that is ment to arrange anything on the morning of my little girls birthday I still had no keys! I sent numerous emails with no response only heard from her when payment is concerned! It's a shame as a lovely place but I wouldn't recommend to anyone, maybe getting staff that had some experience would help
