"Jehovah's Witnesses hold meetings for worship twice each week. Hebrews 10:24, 25 At these meetings, which are open to the public, we examine what the Bible says and how we can apply its teachings in our life. Most of our services include audience participation, much like a classroom discussion. Meetings begin and end with song and prayer. You don't have to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses to attend our meetings. We invite everyone to come along. Seats are free. No collections are ever taken."

The nicest people you could ever meet... until you disagree with their beliefs or breach any of their innumerable rules that they mistakenly claim to be based on scripture. As a former member with decades of service it saddens me to say that Jehovah’s Witnesses are a captive, secretive and harmful organisation who employ high control, coercive techniques and indoctrination common to all cults. Behavior, dress code, information, thoughts and emotions are micromanaged by the Watchtower hierarchy and enforced in each Kingdom Hall by an all male leadership team known as elders. Women have no roles of significance. Scrutiny and criticism are not tolerated, former members are vilified and their insights are discredited as bitterness. Several individuals who attend meetings in this very Kingdom Hall shun close family members for the ‘crime’ of leaving the faith. Be extremely careful before becoming involved with this group and do your own independent research before making a commitment. If a group is legitimate, it will stand up to scrutiny. This one does not.
