Small but friendly atmosphere. Decent prices and tasty food. An abundance of choices....

Have considered trying it for a while but the high prices put me off. However today, decided to give it a go. Regretted my decision immediately. Butter doesn’t come as part of the price so was charged 40p extra for a slither. A potato without butter is just dry. If people have no taste buds and just want a dry potato, they should be able to just request it be left off, but it should be included given the high price of the potato as it is. I can get a jacket potato at the outdoor market at the traditional potato stall and they always ask if you want butter, salt and pepper on first before the filling for no extra charge and then put plenty of butter on. And the price for the whole thing is half of what it is here. Won’t be buying from James Martin again if he doesn’t know how to make a tasty jacket potato.
Very very average. I had the chickpea curry filling. Potatoes are just an average size and portion filling was extremely small. Taste was ok, but not spicy in the slightest. prices border on high side and you'd be better off walking 300m to the market where you get a much better and bigger baked potato at a much fairer price. Staff just didn't seem interested or bothered. When I asked them for pepper, they just shrugged their shoulders and said they didn't have any!!!
Great tasting potatoes but small in size
Worst value for money The portion size for the price you pay are far too small Definitely wont be eating here again The chilli was awful far too spicy and far too many beans to meat ratio
Expensive, but friendly staff. Cutlery not ideal. Would definitely try again.
Took well over half an hour to prepare 3 potatoes and a child’s potato. Barely any toppings left by 2pm. Child’s potato was under cooked and hard. Cutlery came 5 minutes after the food did. Fortunately the toppings were generally tasty and the manager did offer to refund some of the meal.
DAYLIGHT ROBBERY Absolutely extortionate prices £ for cold hard jacket potatoes Portion size is ridiculous A tiny butter portion charged 80p On top of this the staff is rude & need to clean up restaurant areas more often & serve paying customers with a smile
Was a lovely potato with baked beans Well worth the moneyFood: 4/5
Bit pricy but I’ve had really good friendly customer service every time I’ve been :
Mid day Friday 10th Dec. Long wait to be served, appeared to be only 2 staff on duty. My favoured filling, Egg Mayonnaise not available. My wife preferers coleslaw but tried Rainbow slaw which was unattractive, tasteless and disgusting. We noticed 2 other customers returned potatoes which were hard and not cooked. We have used Spudulike for years, bring back the old menu or no more.
