Great place if in the city. Such a meaty sandwich. Lots of selection. Everything is freshly prepared. Would highly recommend.
Excellent food, would regularly go here for lunch when working in the city. Pricier now than it was back then, but that's likely a sign of the times.Food: 5/5
Went today to get 3 Roast Dinners- Pointed out to the Man Serving that he had a Dead bug in one of the trays with the sausages in it. He took his serving tongues and put the bug in the bin to then put the same tongues in with the Meat. Not only cross contamination but really would it have been that hard to quickly wash them. When I said wow you really just did that he said it was fine! It’s NOT Fine. Have logged a complaint with Food hygiene as the whole shop looks Dirty! Clearly decided not to order in the end.
I love urban munch. Tasty comfort food that's exactly what you'd expect to be. Consistently great for years. Lost a star as price has probably gone a bit high for what it is.
If you like this sort of food is the best you are going to get, I give it 10 out of 10 every time, Quality & value for money, can’t beat it!
Best hog roast I have ever eaten even after all the years of being a university student in Norwich it still tastes just a good.
Had a hog roast baguette. Probably one of the best lunches I've ever had. Shame I don't live in Norwich or I'd try everything on the menu! :
What a fantastic food hidden gem!! Right opposite the castle, it may be small in size but delivers a huge variety of cooked food that is locally sourced. Had the Hog Roast Baguette with all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious!! Can't wait to work through the menu!! Gets very busy at lunchtimes!!
Inexpensive, very tasty, and generous portions just about sums up this eatery. And the meat is even free-range! Good job I don't live in Norwich, or I'd end up round as a barrel! Do note that the place is cash-only, but there's an ATM across the road.
