The queue was 37 minutes. The spud itself was good, but I miss Kieth’s. Kieth used to have small potatoes and sour cream sometimes I wish the potato’s were baby potatoes. But the staff was genuinely friendly and kind and I enjoyed chatting with them.
Me and my friends drove all the way from London just to try these Spuds and I can tell you now that it was well worth it! One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had, the staff were super friendly and luckily we were the last customers so we got it for free! Although we couldn’t get what we originally wanted chilli con carne the food was still amazing. We had the garlic chicken topping and it was soooo good! I would definitely come back again!
Waited over 40 minutes due to the queue which would have been fine if the service and food was good. However, when we did get served one of the two popular guys on social media not the one with the cap but the other service was extremely poor. He was very rude, had an attitude and seemed like he CBA serving and it was only 12.45 at this point. When we did order the potatoes the cheese was like crumbs that you would get at the bottom of the packet, tram sauce was only a drizzle, garlic butter you couldn't even taste that and our potatoes were burnt not even crispy just burnt. Proper average! Definitely miss the old potatoes, since the hype it's gone downhill tbh especially when you're paying over £20 you'd expect it to be of good quality etc.
Love the new no queue side hatch for parched peas! Mush all the way through… so tasty! Will be back! If you haven’t tried parched peas… please do. But they must have vinegar on.
Super friendly, great variety of toppings on the baked potato and is buttery soft when you eat it. I got one with garlic butter, carribean beans and cheese. I didn’t notice any difference between the carribean beans and the regular ones but it was delicious regardless. Finished the full potato. Saw the videos on tiktok and stopped off along the way going from Manchester to Glasgow - would definitely visit again.
