Spruce Goose was a bit tricky to find but once there, the owner was most helpful with us buying a £1 box of washing powder & showing us how the machines worked, including the tumble dryers (£1 for 9 minutes). Take pound coins but the guy has change. No problem with sitting & reading the paper.

Decent Laundrette - Bit expensive, but clean, with good machines, even magazines to read while you wait.

Whilst staying in a hotel I used this laundrette several times and found it to be neat and clean and with good machines, though my first usage necessitated a call to the owners as I hadn't used a laundrette for over 40 years.

Clean and convenient location, too bad the machines dont always work.  Ask a local which machines work before feeding any coins...  Otherwise go down the street to the place with better reviews.

Website says 24 hour but sign on door says 8am to 8 pm.
