Gorgeous little cafe tucked away in the forest along side Riving Reservoir. Food Is lovely with a warm atmosphere and staff are prompt and friendly. Highly recommended for a scenic, cosy day out. Vegetarian options: Available on the menu. Parking: Within 50ft of the front door with 10 to 20 spaces. Dietary restrictions: Mentioned on menu.

This is probably one of my favorite ever places. It is an absolute gem. The food is always delicious, surprising and amazing. I have been about four or five times and have never ever been disappointed. The service, the atmosphere and the coffee... All perfect!Food: 5/5
Amazing lunch, the strawberry salad was the best salad I have ever had and possibly one of the best lunches. My husband loved his ploughman's as well. Staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.
Really delicious food that looked amazing, coffee was really nice too as was the service. Only slight disappointment might be the choice but what they do they do amazingly. Definitely try it if you are passing.
First time visit to Spring Cottage and it was worth the wait. The food was delicious. We had an amazing ploughman's lunch. Coffee and cake was great too. Service was top notch. We will definitely be back

Lovely setting. Nice food but a bit overpriced for what it was. A negative - but a big one - when paying I was told that there was a tip option on the card machine but it was obligatory - I found that of bad taste as many would feel embarrassed into tipping when asked in that way - I found it quite rude - I always tip but actually didn’t on this occasion as it made me not want to tip as it felt like it was expected Parking: Separate car park but no lines and someone had parked behind me and it was difficult to get out
Absolutely love it here. Visited for my birthday. Food is always gorgeous, great vegan options, staff are friendly and helpful and the setting is so lovely.Food: 5/5
Came across a little gem this afternoon, had a coffee and scones, brilliant presentation, probably the best cream scones we've ever had, lovey place and would highly recommend, we will definitely be calling there again very soon. We even bought 6 fresh eggs.
