A shop from history in that it probably looked the same when Charles Dickens bought his oxbones here. Wherever you look there's stuff, everywhere. A sort of path meanders through the goods on the shop floor so you can, eventually, get to the till. Only went in for a bale of coir but not stocked so settled for woodshavings and some sort of straw/grass fibre-ry stuff. If you are a keen historian of retail premises then this place cannot be missed. Young lad who was in charge on the day very pleasant and understood the theory of keeping his customers happy. Deffo worth a visit to see how shops worked centuries ago.
