An OK store within Swan Walk, and friendly and efficient staff. However, my biggest gripe is trying to contact the branch by phone. Its just pretty much impossible. So if you are travelling miles to get to a branch, you've absolutely no idea whether they've stock or not. Unlike what one might expect, the phone is positioned by the entrance to the shop. I suspect this is because, whoever it is that is meant to answer the phone hangs out by the entrance. Seems odd, and certainly the regular staff don't answer the phone. To makes things even less likely to be answered, the phone is ddliberately swt to silent! We spent a good hour trying to phone - constantly - and was never answered. Even when in the store, we tried ringing the number, just to see where the phone is, but no ringing noise at all. When we spotted the phone by the exit, we called again, and yes, the red light flashed on it. Now clearly visible by staff, one of the workforce walked toward the phone and answered. So there you go, if you need the phone to a store answering, go stand in the store itself, make it obvious you are looking at the phone, and call it. Voila. I should point out that this policy of not answering calls also exists in Worthing, too, so it's quite likely this is a policy that is nationwide. Shocking. If you're going to provide the ability to call individual stores thank you!, at least consider answering the thing! Otherwise, just take them out and save everyone a whole load of hassle.
The worst customer service that I have every received. Ignored and abandoned by both the assistants who were supposed to be helping me. Needless to say I walked out and your store lost a sale, not that I think it bothered anyone in the Horsham store.
Went to buy a pair of shoes today, terrible customer service, when I asked for a size the response was I know nothing about shoes, I was referred to a colleague who just said we don't really stock many sizes. I asked the person at the till what the problem was, her response was "this is a cheap shop so don't expect good customer service". I'd rate them zero but the system doesn't allow it.
Rubbish, staff not bothered. I chose pair of trainers. Looked for a member of staff to see if they had my size. I could not see anyone so went to the checkout where there were no other shoppers queeing. I asked the assistant if they had my size. She said the person would be on the shop floor soon and she cold not check. I walked around again and saw a female member of staff on her phone in the clothing area . She did not want to help and asked me to go to the foot section the whole experience wasted 15 minutes of my day. I left without trainers. Never visiting again.
A little short staffed I think, it took ages to get served for some trainers, then in a long queue to pay only to be told the size was wrong couldn't waste anymore time queueing. It would be quicker to order online and get delivered than to queue again
No staff was at the shoes section. Upon asking at the counter; one mannerless, unprofessional, untrained young boy came with no sense of customer behaviour. He didn't help me at all, he just left without any communication and I was waiting there for 10 minutes for him to get the size.
Not a nice company to deal with if you have faulty goods, they take the attitude that you broke it on purpose or you used it unsuitability.
Staff are awful. Rubbish selection of Cricket equipment. No local sports shops anymore, as the crooks have put them out of business.
Staff are absolutely horrible. witnessed staff be so rude to a lady with her two small children. She was talked down to and then the low life cashier gossiped about her on the radio whilst she was leaving the shop loud enough for me, her and everyone in the store to hear. Poor lady looked so upset. Will never ever buy from here again. Disgusting!
Can't believe how bad the service was. I asked for a certain shoe size and was told they were not sure. He just walked off? Another member of staff saw this and showed me the shoes which were right behind me, then I get to the till and the cashier didn't even say hello, I only got a goodbye, nothing else said. Unbelievable. They get a one star for their prices though
