Had a great 2 night stay on this cracking little site, supermarket just 200 metres away, bus stop directly outside the site but only a 20min walk into Kendal anyway. No facilities but have a spotless chemical waste point. The pitches were level and all well kept with electric and water on each one, will definitely be returning
Can’t fault it at all it’s super clean and it’s quite no shower or toilet block but they state this on their website so be self sufficient !!! .nthe Elson disposal is super clean what’s a rare thing! .nThe grass very well maintained the pitches are maintained quite level too ,nthey have a small safe off leash secure dog section in corner across from the bin area super clean maintained perfect for a small to medium size dog .nThe views are absolutely fantastic don’t hear much noise from the main road and nothing from the school.nThe shopping area is good with Morrison ,Aldi ,b n m ,Halfords curry’s and a pets at home with a vets for pets inside it too also a saisnburys is just behind the Morrisons !! .nBus stop right across the road from site and a ten min walk to Kendall with plenty of shops and pubs ect .nif your looking for some nice get away where you just want to sit around take in the sites and maybe go for a pub meal or a few pints then this is a fab stop .nalso I forgot to mention most pubs will accept dogs in a leash and well behaved,our dachshund has loved a wonder into town sniffing every corner and bin going .nobviously this site is dog friendly general rules on leash at all times and pick up their poop !!
Great place to stop. All facilities clean and well organised.Close to town and supermarkets very close. Will use again. Thank you.
Excellent site. Electricity and water provided at every pitch. Fenced off area to exercise dogs. Very quiet overnight and lovely views over to the hills.
For me this place is perfectly situated. You have grocery shops just a five minute walk one way and the town a 15 minute walk the other way. It's fully serviced and well kept. We don't use shower/toilet facilities ever but be aware that there are none here.
