Just visited a Cardiologist at Shawfair and had a consultation followed by an echo scan and then treadmill exercise. Treatment throughout was excellent and would be highly recommended for anyone needing a check. Quick service from Spire with really good facilities. Many thanks to Dr Henriksen and his team.
I've been there for a Cardiologist consultation and had the pleasure to meet Dr. Flapan. The consultant was very friendly and the consultation very thorough. Received a response in a week and this was very accurate and clear as well. The building is not easy to reach from the city centre though.
Such a welcoming good experience at this hospital, very professional approach with everything from the initial consultation to the completion of my treatment. My consultant, Dr Mehat was excellent, very professional and more importantly, very reassuring as I am quite a nervous patient and I would definitely return to him to have my other cataract done when the time comes, well done. Very happy patient.
clinical staff are nice from the one one consultation I had here, my complaint is about getting information after the first visit, as I've been scheduled for another procedure. I've been trying to get a hold of ANYONE for days to try change the date of a follow up procedure to no avail. Reception cannot help and only redirects the call to extensions where no one answers. Someone did try phone back the day before the procedure: I didn't get the chance to pick up and they did not leave a message, no idea what that'll be about till I show up I imagine as I phoned back but no one answered. Really appalling, I'd expect way more from a private hospital.
Went to spire health care shawfair Park. For breast augmentation had help from start to finish .staff and surgeons were 1st class . On the day of the surgery I was very nervous and excited. I was well care for couldn't fault the service or staff 10 out of 10 .could definitely recommend this hospital
I've had Botox several times from Mr Mark Butterworth and have always been delighted with the service and the results. Reception staff also very friendly and helpful.
Lady on reception rude and abrupt, and looked like she'd be better suited in a position not dealing with the public as she has zero people skills. I've been to shawfair a few times and after being spoken to like a child/piece of dirt, I doubt I'll ever be back now.
I had cataract surgery here through Laservisjon Scotland with Jonathan Ross. My care was excellent from the moment I arrived at reception to the moment I left. The nursing staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. The support staff were great including the cheery man who brought me a much needed pot of tea. Jonathan Ross and his team exceeded expectations. There was very little discomfort and the end result, after 3 days, is perfect distance and middle distance eyesight with reading glasses for small print or low lighting. I can't recommend highly enough
Initial visit was pleasant, facility very clean, seen very quickly. After-care is pretty shocking. Reception aren't very knowledgable, called for blood results and passed pillar to post. Spoke to the practise manager for my consultant, they couldn't have been more helpful and apologetic although they too received pretty useless information from Spire. Called the medical records department, said I needed a specimen signature, ID and utility bill to access?! My GP hasn't had these either. Shame when you pay in excess of £1000 for the treatment and for all they know there could be urgent results. UPDATE: visited for a procedure and it was a great visit. Staff were wonderful and I was well looked after. I did however have to get up and leave rather than be discharged which was fairly odd but I’ll be adding a star nonetheless.
My appointment to see a consultant was for 1440 hrs. I arrived at 1420 and was "processed" at the admin desk by 1430. I walked along the corridor to my consultant's office to be met by her and told that I was 20 minutes late for my appointment! I showed her my appointment letter and she acknowledged that there had been an "admin error". But she only gave me 10 minutes of her time and I was ushered out at 1440. No apology given by the admin staff. Really quite unacceptable!
