Had such a lovely meal here! Excellent food and really lovely staff, would highly recommend.
This pub is nothing to look at from the outside with no fancy tarmac car park. Go inside. Light and airy with great decoration and comfortable seating. Very cosy atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Food! Great menu with large selection. If you are a fish lover in most places there only fish and chips, not here, there are FIVE fish dishes to choose from. We chose two of them, well cooked, hot and large portions. First class pint of cask beer. Excellent value for money.
Front of house staff were welcoming and friendly. 3 different meals were ordered and delivered. They were all delicious! We could not finish any of them because there was so much on a beautifully presented plates. Believe me, we did not want to leave anything but could not eat it all!! We will definitely return.
Mid week catch up with family. Great menu , lovely service and the food lived up to expectations will definitely be back ... numerous times I suspect!
Having gone past the spinners arms - be it driving,walking or even cycling - over many years,so many times; I eventually stepped foot inside said pub/eating establishment on one of the last days of 2022.The results were quite impressive too. A wide selection of pub food was available: hearty portions of meat,poultry and fish dishes,as well as a varied desert menu.real ales and drinks - also fairly wide and varied. The staff were also helpful and friendly - not all eating establishments can always boast these credentials. The atmosphere was more of a traditional pub where you go to have a drink as your first priority and maybe a 'bar snack' as an after thought.but that's the only minor gripe I possibly have about this public house facility. On the whole; a very pleasant first visit.hopefully not the last - I recommend it.
Great place, pass it all the time in the car. Don't know why we've never eaten there before, we will from now on. Big portions and very reasonably priced.
Just come away from here. Absolutely brilliant evening. Amazing food, amazing staff and amazing atmosphere. We will definitely return. Thank you for my 'enjoy every moment'.
Would recommend to book ahead as it was busy and had a small wait before our table was available. Both had Sunday lunches and the food was really nice. The roast beef cooked perfectly.

Went last night with 11 people in our party. Atmosphere was excellent, The excellent staff were very efficient, friendly and courteous, food was really top class.
