Owner jumps to conclusions and is biased despite being a customer over 20  years has decided no longer requires my customerage based on one incident and a complaint from a customer sat next to me about being loud as the person I bumped into at shop by accident is a loud person and we were discussing his Asian travels during winter and his Cambodian girlfriend  whom he'd like to marry and settle on the Isle of Man.Bad reviews and my photos bring attraction of the wrong kind! Sarah the owner even had as little tact as possible in informing me the day after the complaint by telling me thereof in the middle of Strand Street opposite The Bohemian Coffee Shop  highly recommendedto the extent that I was publicly embarassed.

We went to the cafe for a hot bowl of soup, ended up having coffee and some toast. : The place has a old and slow charm to it. Very welcoming staff and good selection of cakes and coffee! Pro tip: go a little before 1 to enjoy the much talked about fresh soup!

Bought an Americano and two cookies salted caramel and muesli incase you were wondering to go. Spot on. Will definitely sit in when I have more time.

Let’s get the most important out of the way. The coffee is excellent, and they have an assortment of homemade cakes and cookies. But what brings this coffee place to the very top is the exceptional friendliness of the staff there. It feels like a place locals hang out. It comes with my highest recommendations.

What makes this place special for me is the staff. They are always smiling and so pleasant..it makes it a place you want to come back  to again and again. Great coffee and lovely homemade cakes, quiches and soups. The atmosphere is always relaxed even when the ladies are mega busy.

The best coffee and cake in Douglas, possibly the Isle of Man. Saturday for cheesecake is the highlight but their cake cabinet is worth a skeet any day.

Great customer service, coffee & cakes. The staff are really friendly & the coffee is the best I've had in a long time.  Will definitely be a regular here
