Beautiful homemade cakes in very quaint, cute surroundings. More of a tea & cake/dessert place than a lunch/sandwich place. Try the traditional Scottish clootie dumpling! They lose a star only because of quite slow service and lack of menus

Visited this lovely quaint tea room when I was on holiday last week. Lovely welcome, lovely cakes. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back. It is just like grandmas house in the nicest possible way. Lady that welcomed us was lovely and so was the man that served us.
Absolutely fantastic, best scones in the world , couldn't fault anything such lovely hosts 100% worth a visit.
Friendly family run, pleasant seating with top class home baking and personal service. Five stars for the clootie dumpling, cakes and coffee.
5 stars is not enough to give this fantastic establishment. Al least 10 stars. Fantastic selection of fayre drinks and nothing I'd to much trouble for the staff. Definitely will be back.

Really nice little place beside the cathedral. Staff lovely. Although I only had soup split pea and a coffee there were lots of choices for lunch. There signature dish, the clootie dumpling looked amazing. Next time I'll try that. Reasonably priced too.
