Wonderful food. This little restaurant now treads the line beautifully between authenticity and modern gourmet dining. Relaxed and convivial service. Lovely dark rum cocktails. It'd be sad if their prices went up any higher than they currently are though.
The food was excellent. The service was really good. We had some authentic on alcoholic drinks recommended by the waiter. Will definitely come again.
Delicious specimen of Caribbean cuisine. The jerk chicken was full of flavors and substantial in portion size. The curry goat was good too. I had fried plantains as side which was simply impeccable. Rum cake was very tasty. Next time I will go there to try the Rum cocktails
My favourite restaurant in Oxford. The service, atmosphere and food has been consistently excellent over the couple of years I've been. The menu is exciting and the combination of flavours mouthwatering. I ordered the Jerk Tempeh and it was all divine... the corn bread was to die for! Highly recommend Spice Roots to everyone.
The food was amazing, the kind of resturant that makes you wish you never got full up. Our waiter was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Would highly recommend.
