Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining at Spice Village with my guests from New Zealand, and our experience was nothing short of spectacular!nnFrom the moment we walked in, we were enveloped by a warm and inviting ambience. We scoffed a variety of dishes and the spices were perfectly balanced, enhancing the taste without overwhelming it. My guests were particularly impressed with the authenticity and richness of the flavours, which made the meal memorable.nnThe customer service was exceptional. Waiting staff were attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. It was clear that they take great pride in providing top-notch service. Special mention goes to Manager Inam, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional. Inam took the time to personally check on us, asking how we were enjoying our meal and sharing insights into how their delicious food is prepared. This personal touch truly enhanced our dining experience!nnI highly recommend Spice Village for anyone looking to enjoy a superb dining experience. We will definitely be returning!
We had a fantastic experience at Spice Village Restaurant during our wedding taster evening. Manager Inam and his team truly went above and beyond to provide exceptional service, making the evening unforgettable. The food was impeccably presented and tasted divine. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring we had a perfect evening was remarkable. Highly recommended!
I have come to spice village many times however this time I came and the service was extremely bad and the food was not fresh.nnWe ordered starters and we had just received them and the waiter tried to bring out the mains. We had been given a tiny table so I don’t know where he expected us to put the food. After the starters finished I asked them to bring out the mains which the same thing be they were trying to give us ten minutes before. Anyways we ordered biryani and hall and we were told it was fresh but it was all stale and cold.nnFor a high class popular restaurant I was surprised that it was below standard. Honestly I don’t think they are really bothered. In addition I contacted them in advance as I needed.nnOnce I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager miraculously everything changed and it was all better but I feel that I didn’t have to point that out to them.
Amazing staff and great food. We were treated well from the moment we were queuing up as this restaurant is always busy. The outdoor heaters were a welcome touch so that customers don’t wait in the cold. The renovations are lush and opulent, you can see that money has been well spent to make the customer feel at ease and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have the seats and tables spaced out so it doesn’t seem like one is prying into other people’s conversations.nnVery tasty food. Lovely big naan portions, garlic naan could have some coriander on it as an extra touch and perhaps a littlenMore garlic as I couldn’t really taste it. The mixed grill was tender with juicy lamb chops and I can see they have added baby potatoes and Turkish chillies for extra decadence.nnI ordered mocktail which were served on a tray of dry ice which definitely had the wow factor! I can see spice village has improved greatly! The peshawari naan is a sweet sumptuous delight and I am happy to return and try out the additional dishes on the menu!nnI was delighted by my visit as I know there’s great competition on Southall broadway for fine dining- spice village ranks top of the list in my opinion! Thank you to the staff- food was served quickly and waiters were so attentive that they overheard my request for napkins and delivered them before I even asked them! Give the lads a pay rise- they deserve it!
Very basic flavours tbh. We booked for an Alumni lunch and my table food was just warm. After reading the reviews I doubt how can people find it worthy of 4 or 5 stars. Per person they charged us £30, I understand we payed for hall rent but food was just okayish.
