We visited Karwan yesterday and had a mixed experience. The food was average, nothing particularly stood out. However, the service was excellent; the staff were attentive and courteous.nnUnfortunately, all of us experienced stomach issues starting at night which lasted until the next evening. While we can't be certain if others had the same problem, it's concerning enough to mention. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to look into their hygiene and cleanliness standards to ensure such issues don't occur in the future.
Very nice indeed...Chapli kebabs were very well balanced in spices ... not as good as Lala Peshawari in Hounslow but still very nice and great big size... Nihari was excellent... very creamy and meat was extremely tender ice cream was a lovely taste and not sickly sweet... this place is very popular with families so expect lots of noisy screaming kids running around but the service and staff are excellent so makes up for it... takeaway from here probably a better idea but definitely worth a visit or 2!
Karwan is exceptional! The Lamb Karahi is rich and full of flavor, while the Chapli Kebab is perfectly spiced and juicy. The service is prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy. Highly recommend for a true taste of Afghan cuisine.

Absolutely great food, ordered the 54.95 platter, the meat was cooked to perfection. Was served by Jashan who was very helpful and stopped us from ordering kabuli pulou unnecessarily as it came with the platter. Had a jug of mango lassi for 10 pounds which was just sublime, and it was a huge jug. Super value for money, huge mega portions, great atmosphere and service. It was just a magnificent meal. Many thanks to Jashan for all the help.
