First time to visit this place and sadly will be the last. Took my 87 year old mum for a Sunday lunch. She was not used to curry so we requested a very mild lamb curry. This turned out to be too spicy and i would agree as I'm used to curry. The service was too slow with only ourselves and another group so no excuse. The owner spent too much time chatting on his phone and we had to keep getting his attention. We requested some ice cream aka Kulfi and none was available. So we ordered 3 other things and eventually the owner came up trying to convince my mum to have a different type instead of owning up to the fact they didn't have that one. In a time of great choice of where to eat and the service you get, i suggest you try elsewhere to spend your valuable money. The food was okay is the plus but nothing amazing sadly.
Just picked up a chicken bhuna and rice. In the past its been very good but tonight was basically chicken and a watery sauce with no flavour. Very disappointed, so much so I only eat half the will be binned. Sorry guys a jar of pataks beats that by a million miles. Will not be returning

A very tasty takeaway that i went and collected. Food was prepared quickly and good value for money. It is a couple of years since I last had a takeaway Ash is still there and as welcoming as ever. The mushroom bhaji is still as awesome as ever : My only slight criticism was we ordered spicy poppadoms and received plain ones.
My first mistake was thinking this was part of the Spice Village official franchise it is NOT! Food was to a poor standard-no flavour, just full of food red colouring! Tiny portions and most definitely not fresh! Manager needs to get his ego in check, as he was very defensive and arrogant when we discreetly complained about the undercooked chips, bad naan no filling though we asked for a keema one and our disappointment in the lack of flavour. The staff otherwise were very polite but didn’t understand the menu well, as they told us the mixed grill consisted of one whole chicken only. Overpriced and would not recommended!
Just eaten from here. The staff were nice. But the food was not upto standard. When we made a quiet complaint, the boss had come over with an attitude about how he has different restaurants and has 100 people coming in daily. I don’t really care if he has that many people coming because clearly they have no palette. Anyways if you love flavour, don’t dine from here. Don’t order the keema naan as well. You’ll have 1/5 of some thin meat in the naan and 4/5 filled with hot air.
Been eating from here for yrs. Always found them friendly and excellent food. Best around from my experience.
Second time and first on collection the food was nice.. I did request chicken jalfrezi to be extra spicy and unfortunately it was not more chucks of onions then chicken.. I throw out about 12 thick chucks which took over the sauce. I did a collection but whilst waiting did not like the delivery driver who was sat besides me interfering with my order which was already spoken with the staff.. little uncomfortable.. maybe do not talk over staff who had already taken my order and was paid was.. ruined my first experience visting the restaurant. The food and staff were polite and patient. I would order again as a collection would give it a chance if requests are caught :
As we ordered chicken lolly pop it was not even good taste was even not good it was extra fried i must say tasteless other thing we ordered lamb biryani it was not good taste . We went their with hope but was not even worth it. Will not recommend at all
