We visited the Spice Lounge for the first time in a couple of years. Our food was excellent, the service spot on and the prices very fair. We will definitely going back more often
Probably the best restaurant and dining experience in the tiny village of Chatteris. Warm and friendly staff; excellent chef and waiting staff. Great value for money.

This is my favourite Indian restaurant in the area. Fantastic service and great food.
We felt let down by this restaurant, not only was the food expensive it was quite poor in quality too. Prawns were like rubber.
My experience with this place is mixed. I like the taste of the food and the staff are pleasant, but I do have some concerns. The first time I got takeaway from there, the rice was lukewarm despite the container being very hot. We suspected it was just reheated, not from fresh. As a takeaway place, I can understand why, but reheating rice can be dangerous. Then, this weekend, I enjoyed a nice takeaway from here only to wake up in the early hours of the morning with food poisoning. I can't confirm it was the takeaway, but everything else I had eaten this week were regular meals, whereas this was a 'treat'. Think I'm going to avoid for now, but maybe I've just been unlucky in the last two months that I've been going there... As I say, the food tastes nice, the staff are nice, and people in the area raved about it when I moved here. Shame.
Absolutely beautiful food we have been here twice and each time it was amazing, food was cooked to perfection from the starters to the mains didnt have dessert as was very full

Excellent food . Fresh , delicately spiced and reasonably priced . Restaurant is clean and modern . Best king prawn madras I have had for a few years .
