Great food. Big portions. Vindaloo could've been a little spicier but I'm a fan of spice, also there's a phaal on the menu! My wife isn't a big curry fan but she loved the biryani, and kept some for lunch the next day! :-
The resterant was almost completely empty at 8pm on a Saturday night. Ordered a set meal for 4 people. 4 onion bhaji & 2 sheek kebabs arrived for the starters. When asked why there was only 2 kebabs, we were told "that's all it comes with". Poor. Not enough food in the set meal for the 4 people, we had to order extra dishes. Food itself was ok but nothing special. The staff were literally leaning on the bar watching us eat & kept trying to clear plates even though we were clearly not finished. Did they want to close early, or were we keeping them from doing something more interesting? As I said, we were by this time the only group still in the place, & it's still only about 9.30. The restaurant has no atmosphere & no windows either. Safe to say that we won't be going back.
Really lovely evening, fantastic food. Had a little wait due to some large parties but worth the wait. Excellent flavours too.
Lamb curry meat was extremely tough and the curry as a whole had absolutely no flaver or spice , the only thing from there I enjoyed in fact was the popadoms over all very disappointed as had good reveiws
Always friendly service and the food is amazing. There is a great selection of meals including duck dishes and Shahi rice.
Always a top curry night. Recommend Chicken Korai Madras hotness, outstanding. Thumbs up!
