I chose what I wanted to order on the Spice Lodge website, selected the pay by card option entered my details and the payment seemed to go through ok. Waited patiently for over an hour, after which time I called them up and they had no record of my order - so I never actually got to taste any food. The guy on the phone said they only ever take money by cash so didn't think I'd actually ordered from their website. I won't bother again.

Good value...had one bad experience with food quality/freshness of a particular dish; never ordered that dish again...other dishes were fine.

I really like this takeaway. The quality is very good (I don't feel like they skimp on any of the ingredients), as are the portion sizes. It is definitely one of our favourite options when we decide not to cook and want something different. I recommend the biryani (chicken and king prawn) and lamb rogan.

Terrible service. Repeated mistakes with the order. Rude and unhelpful when called about errors in order. Food delivered in flimsy containers which almost always leak oil everywhere. All chicken dishes taste basically the same and you can tell the meats been batch marinated in the same tikka spice and just covered in a slightly different sauce which doesn't go with the meat marinade - if it's not tikka that's been ordered it shouldn't taste like it. Hence why I tend to order lamb. Today they got the order wrong yet again and sent their unpleasant chicken instead. Was offered to have he correct dish sent only after arguing with the guy on the phone, but no time given "I don't know when it will be". Called half an hour later and was told it would be another half hour - so the rest of the food would be stone cold by then but they don't care about the appalling service they give to regular customers. Hour and 20 minutes since original delivery, still no sign of the correct order. Shockingly bad. The worse part is they genuinely don't give a hoot about it. Abysmal.
