I highly recommend this Indian and Asian restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was delighted with the variety of dishes available and the quality of the food was excellent. I would definitely come back and recommend it to family and friends.
Wasn't particularly fond of the place. Didn't feel all that welcoming. Looking around the room on one wall it looked like there was mold growing and water damage. Also noticed there were little splatters of white paint everywhere. The air-conditioning didn't look like it was cleaned recently either. The food was ok but would recommend putting a rubber sleeve on the spoons in the curries. It's a bit hot to the touch. I burnt my hand One of hosts didn't feel welcoming too. Kinda felt awkward and uncomfortable. Also one was asleep on the sofa at the front which doesn't feel very professional. Also I don't know what was said but when we went to the counter and spoke some of the hosts started talking another language in the middle of the conversation. Hindi I think? One thing, cute fish by the little bridge.
Food is amazing absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. Waiters are always working hard and replace/fill items regularly. Definitely great value for money. Venue needs a little renovation and food could be a bit hotter in temperature but otherwise this place is a hidden gem and always busy for a reason. Will keep returning here that's for sure keep up the good work Kid-friendliness: Lovely koi pond and non spicy food available Parking: Lots of spaces
We had the early diner buffet on a Saturday, 5 until 6:30pm, £15.50 per head, bring your own booze. It may not be the most salubrious of venue's, but it is perfectly clean and in order. The staff super friendly and helpful, though one of the waiters was new and a little uninitiated, but very willing all the same. The food was amazingly good, excellent variety of dishes, including "English" options if you have some in your party that have a more plain pallette. It's all very tasty, cooked very well and kept hot throughout. No complaints there in the slightest. We think we may have been charged the post 18:30 rate, but it was still less than £20.00 a head including the tip, so didn't feel inclined to argue over a few pounds. Great food, excellent value, brilliant staff, will go next time we are in the area.
Went with gluten allergy, manager came out discussed ingredients in Buffett and what was suitable. Some items were gluten free as made with gram flour, but were fried in oil shared with onion rings etc so we’re not suitable due to cross contamination. The manager freshly made some items and fried them in fresh oil without being asked which made our day. Food was awesome, haven’t been in about 4 years, but was as good as I remember it. Highly reccomend.
A first visit to Royal Spiceland and we received such a warm welcome. The food was the most authentic we had tasted outside of India. The New management are doing a great job to update the venue and are open to suggestions on improvements. Already looking forward to returning.
Indian Buffet restaurant. Went on a Saturday night, was very busy. Good variety of food but as the night went on there were lots of dishes that needed refilling, but we're not! £17.99, was worth it. No alcohol available to buy on site but you can take your own. Plenty of parking.Food: 5/5
I am sorry to say that we were highly disappointed with this restaurant. They served stale food, re-heat the old/remaining food I suppose. They have zero courtesy for customers. We booked dinner slot from 1730-1900. We finished eating before 1900. My son stopped at the fish aquarium that they have and started watching fish for 5-7 mints so we end up staying till after 1900 for 5-10 mints. They charged us with the higher rate for 1900-2200 dinner shifts. We would never ever visit/recommend this place for fine dining. There are much better options available by driving another 7-10 miles and going to Peterborough.
It became my most favourite restaurant in my recent days.Tried many Indian cuisine’s but the tastes of the food here is authentic and can feel our home. I would recommend this restaurant to the parents with kids who loves to taste different varieties of starters.Honestly worth for spending. Friends give a try for the buffet in this place.Thank you Royal spice land for the awesome taste.
I wish I could give negative stars even then that probably wouldn't be low enough, absolutely terrible place, food was terrible. One member from the group we went with has been ill for days since eating here has now been to the doctors for tests to see exactly what it is but definitely picked it up here. How are places like this still trading in this day and age? Its absolutely ridiculous. Avoid this place at all costs expensive tasteless with a general helping of food poisoning Thanks for the pointless reply below.... not negative reviews at all honest reviews. There are plenty of great reviews from actual restaurants that should thrive for many years to come and others that shouldn't be there at all. Quick question... what's your food hygiene rating score?? it's not very good at all is it. Yes I have spoken to environmental heath as your restaurant is a petri dish for goodness knows what. Don't hide the fact that your restaurant is sub standard by claiming that I'm just an unhappy person. Dietary restrictions: Great if you want a strong dose of the sh*t's
