Avoid avoid avoid ! With the amount of restaurants in the vicinity, you'd be making a massive mistake giving this place your custom. The prices are reasonable but the orders are consistently wrong, the menu is just words cobbled together and has no relevance regarding your order. There's no point in asking for specific instructions or requests, as they clearly pay no attention and decide off the cuff what food your being lumped with. And when the order is wrong, which it inevitably will be, and you phone to query it, don't assume you'll be getting a positive outcome or a refund .. or at the very least, the actual food you paid for. You'll be dismissed with haste as the cycle starts again with the next unsuspecting victim being served random nonrefundable slop. Foretold is forewarned ! Take your custom elsewhere.
The customer service was shocking I ordered a meal for a family member in a care home and due to them not feeling well I thought it in my best interest to cancel the order I phoned up 5 mins after making order on just eat to then be told it was on its way to deliver which also the delivery charge was a steep £12 for a few miles drive anyway I cancelled the order on just eat to later receive an abusive phone call from an employee. I am appalled at how I was treated and would not recommend this takeaway just because of how they treat customers shocking!!!
TERRIBLE PLACE. DO NOT order from here! The rating on Just Eat is a SCAM. The 1975 reviews are all by the same people voting 6 stars!! The comments are even the same from page to page. Also, their HYGIENE rating by the Hygiene Information Scheme requires improvement. Delivery was meant to take 45-60 minutes. They only accepted our order 30 minutes after we sent it and delayed delivery by 40 minutes. The food still didn't come for an hour after the delayed time. In total it took 3 hours, although they cheated by saying it was already delivered 30 minutes before it was. We called the manager and he was rude and told us to "F*** off". We demanded a refund because we had payed by card but he refused, even though at this point it was more than 2 hours late. Finally he said they would cook it up again and give us coupons, but they had lied and it came mildly microwaved and soggy. The drinks were warm. Instead of coupons we got a 1 pound bottle of coke. The food was awful and tasteless. Don't make the same mistake we made!!!!
Do not believe the Just Eat Reviews - every time the receive a bad review, they bury it with what appears to be automated 6 * reviews. we waited 2 hours for our delivery. in that time we called twice to check what was going on, only to be told by the manager, "its on its way". He then said he would send us a fresh order but he clearly didnt as food was cold and poppadoms were stale.
I would have rated this 0 stars if it was possible. Food took an hour and half to arrive called to cancel and was told no because it has already left then came 15 minutes after that and the food was absolutely frozen and the order was wrong. When I called to complain I was told it was fresh food and I was basically lying about it being cold as it was "very fresh food". Staff were very rude and didnt arrange any compensation. Will never order again.
Would rate 0 if I could, arguably one of the worst meals I have ever touched! The food was bland and the chicken tasted really old. Will not be surprised if I am unwell in the morning as a result of the meal. Dont even think about ordering from here!!
From order time to delivery was 3 hours. After 2 hours of waiting I called up the restaurant about having it cancelled, they outright refused to allow the order to be cancelled and for a refund to be given, and that if i didn't want it "it will be left outside your door". He then said that it would be delivered within the next 5 minutes and I was hung up on. I called back 15 minutes later asking where the food was and after being told that the driver was stuck in traffic and was almost there I was hung up on again. I called again another 15 minutes later and was told to "f*** off" and was hung up on. The final time I called, the person on the line apologised saying that the driver was the one at fault and that they would make the food again and send it again not that there was any other option for me, as he again refused refund as well as a bottle of wine and vouchers for money off in the future. When the food which was mediocre at best finally arrived, it was in fact, accompanied by 2 broken poppadoms and a bottle of coke. The chips and presumably therefore all the food were obviously just reheated as they were soggy, and the drinks we had ordered were incorrect as well. In short, i would never order from this place again in my life. This was all extremely surprising due to their 5.5 star review on just eat, but then I noticed that many of their "6 star reviews" are posted by the same names without comments, and actually some of the exact same comments posted multiple times.
AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID Do not waste your money.... garlic nan had no flavour, was burnt and was thin as paper... peshwari nan exact same with just food colouring inside...mixed pokora.. greasy and mostly batter no onion in sight! Curry was awful also asked for pilau rice and got boiled rice £22.00 to be put in the bin.
Such BAD customer service. Did NOT receive my food. I received an email saying the food was being made yet after ONE HOUR, when I still HADN'T received my food I rang in to be told there was no order. The service was totally unacceptable and did not help AT ALL apart from a 'i'm sorry but the website was only for collection, i don't know what happened'. Never recommend to anyone.
Wait an hr as usal on delivery. Phoned back to be told the driver was just leaving . 30 mins later phoned back as still no delivery and he said would be there in a couple of mins so I said if its not here in 5 mins a will send it back . Phoned 20 mins later to be told that I canceled the order as he phoned the driver who couldn't be here within 5 mins .so a said should u not be phoning to tell me that ma order is cancel and he said a don't have u number the delivery driver does . A asked why he told me it was just leaving and 49 mins still nothing . He told me a was lier . Then ofeed to send the order back out after the delivery driver takes it back no doubt freezing . Total joke won't be using them again
