I’d just like to say, what wonderful welcoming experience today. My appointment was at 1.35. I was a little nervous as not been to an opticians for some years. From start to finish the whole team at a Totton we’re fantastic, nothing too much trouble and should hopefully pick up my new specs early December.
Went in to get a minor repair to a pair of glasses bought from Specsavers, but not this one. The very busy assistant was very charming, did the repair with no problems, no charge,and off I went. Couldn't ask for more. Great, and rare.
I had my eye test today at Spec Savers, Totton. I recieved great customer service and no waiting about. The lady who greated me was lovely and she carried out initial tests. She then took me to see the optician and this was the same person who saw me a couple of years ago. I was then supported by Chloe to choose a frame and she explained various options to me and helped me to understand my prescription - she was so helpful, professional & kind. Thank you to all colleagues at Specsavers, Totton. The only thing i would suggest you do is remove the various items that are cluttering direct access to a couple of your emergency fire extinguishers.
I experienced excellent customer service at this branch in Totton they fixed my Hearing aid whilst i waited then i was told there was no charge. Excellent service will recommend highly.
The staff were friendly and I didn't wait for too long, I was a bit anxious because some surfaces didn't seem clean but they wiped things down when I asked them to.
My daughter is severely visually impaired and is way over due her eye test only problem Is ,online states no appointments available when you ring they either cut you off or send to answer phone and when you leave a message with the promise of someone getting back to you, they won't and have no intention to, yet still send out reminder letters telling her to book her overdue appointment ASAP. time to take her elsewhere..
A fair bit of waiting around to be seen . Appointment longer than expected as waited between seeing optician , and choosing glasses and seeing guy who did exact measurements . I have to go in to store again as glasses are not a good fit. Disappointed.
My brother in law has new glasses that are giving him headaches. Lower strength than his old ones. My wife has been trying to call them for 3 days to try to get it sorted. 5-10 calls in a row every few hours. If your lucky enough to get into the call queue then it goes down until your number 1 then rings and then states we have been unable to connect your call and cuts off. Bad service.
With more than enough staff, their all absolutely incapable of doing the most basic thing of picking up the bloody phone. Expect to try at least 3-4 times over the duration of the day just to get through to one of them.
I got caught in traffic and was 15 minutes late for my appointment. I couldn't be seen but staff were understanding, rebooked my appointment and whilst there, replaced my nose pads, tightened and cleaned them up for nothing. Lovely staff and in a convenient location.
