Popped in because I was long due an eye check-up and desperately needed new glasses. Loved my experience here. Nice helpful staff. Everyone was professional. The eye check was quite thorough and I was explained everything about my eye health, which is quite nice. I do wish there were a little more options for the frames available at shop, but the staff helped me get some frames from the back of shop as I was looking for very specific style. 10/10 experience. :
Not impressed. I have been a Specsavers Carmarthen customer for 8-9 years and in my opinion their customer service has sadly fallen some distance. Front of house/Initial greeting very poor even though store was not very busy. The eye health image is now chargeable. When collecting the glasses there was no fitting service to make sure glasses were 100%, when i requested fitting I was told "No, you take them away and if there's any problem bring them back".That's not what I expect when i'm being charged £318.00 for a pair of glasses. I expect the experts at specsavers to do what they do well, and they still do, but it was the customer service that kept me coming back to this store...Not sure I'll be back next time thanks.
Never had such thorough tests carried out on my eyes. Took time to explain in details what they could see in the back of my eyes. Staff are excellent & we even managed to have a few laughs along the way. Highly recommended - thanks guys.
Just popped in so they could tighten up a screw. He yook my glasses and gave ghem z goid overall cleaning them, tightening up the screw and bending the glasses to fit better. Great after service. Friendly and polite. When I had my eyes tested they were brilliant with me. Fair play to them top notch service. They slso repair glasses that you gave bought elsewhere free of charge! The store is clean and tidy. Wheelchair access no problem. Served within a minute or less of walking in. Will return again for my next eye test and glasses
Far too busy. Very long wait despite having an appointment. Noisy. When it came to choosing frames I felt very rushed. Not a pleasant experience at all.
Quick,effective and cheaper than my previous opticians. Staff are polite and very helpful too.
Thanks to all the team for going out of their way in an emergency. I live 40 miles from Carmarthen but was going there to see my Son. Specsaver Carmarthen fitted me in for an eye test when nobody else would. Their service is second to none. I couldn't get my glasses the same day BUT it wasn't a problem as they sent them me in the post....extremely Happy to be able to see and read again. Thanks Guys!!
Impossible to contact by telephone to ask a simple question. Online FAQs were no help and they suggest leaving a message but that you might not get a reply very quickly. Called at another branch where I was able to get an answer from two very helpful assistants. I am a former customer but shall not be using them in future.
I broke my glasses and went in on the off chance, Faye couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent customer service.
Waited several weeks for an appointment for eye test. Had the test in January and I was very impressed with the in depth examination. Chose 3 pairs of specs, two varifocal one reading glasses. They were ready to collect in just over a week. The glasses were handed to me at the door, usually varifocals are fitted. However i found i could not see clearly out of either varifocals, i have been wearing varifocals for more than 25 years so i tried to wear them to get used to them. I couldnt see to drive so had to wear my old specs. Tried phoninng, leaving messages on ansaphone from 9am. Eventually late afternoon i had a call vack. A new appointment was made for a fitting check. It was decided that the prescription was not quite correct and one pair at a time should be sent for correction. After 2 weeks i was asked to collect the specs and an appointment for fitting was made. In the shop they seemed fine so the other pair was sent for correction. When i got outside distance vision was blurred. I tried them for a week. No improvement. Again got the ansaphone all day. Only got to talk to someone when i lodged a complaint. Another appointment where i felt like i was being told off for saying they were ok when they were not. The 2nd pair were back by then. When i tried those, distance much better but not able to read with them. I needed a further eye examination no appointments for 3 weeks i was away then, their diary didnt go further and i was told they would phone me the next week to make an appointment. That did nit gappen. Again i phoned, ansaphone again, although i did get a call vack after 2 hours. Next appointment available 3 weeks time, 2nd May. I advised them it was bank holiday and they said they still had to work bank holidays. I closed my cafe so i could make the appointment. When I got to the shop at the appointed time it was shut. We are now in May. I paid for my spectacles mid January, and i still have no glasses that i can see to drive in. I will be requesting my money back if i can get hold of anyone tomorrow.
