My mum who is 81 went for her glasses after having a cataract operation. Apart from one young man working in the Beverley branch the rest of the staff are unbelievablely disrespectful, unprofessional and have no regard for the elderly customer. We went for lunch and told the staff about the appalling service and was told that they are known for their service and Beverley people don't go there! Disgraceful from start to finish!
I had an appointment yesterday for sight test with Simon can honestly say it was the most thorough check I’ve ever had! His explanations were clear and very well explained. Following this I had my contact lens check with the other Simon I have seen Simon before and he is always very helpful always good have a chat! The icing on the cake was picking my new glasses with Lacey. A huge thank you to her. She guided me through the minefield of picking the right frames, with information that I had no idea before. No more glasses sliding down my nose now I know what to look for. She is a great asset to the store. Fantastic customer service skills. Look forward to picking up my new glasses soon.
Very good. Staff brilliant. Very patient and explained everything.....especially the young man who sorted last test and sorted and measured frames etc....excellent.
Went for my check up, 08-30 appointment, how nice was that? Walk through a nearly deserted Beverley to find Specsavers already open and waiting for me. Seemed as though I was straight in to have the preliminary tests done then waited less than 2 minutes to have the main parts of the check up sorted. All very good, all very streamlined without any feeling of being rushed. Then came the bit I hate, choosing new frames! Helped initially by a very busy member of staff and the girl meeting and greeting but obviously they had other work to do. Thankfully a lovely gentleman came along to help, obviously knew his stuff offering good advice and suggestions. He stayed with me throughout the choosing, initial fit and payment part and I left feeling as if I'd had a very good shopping experience. I appreciated the continuing attention to COVID regulations, the cleanliness of everything and the way they worked round me wearing my mask, think this is very important. Thank you to all the staff who assisted me and treated me like a person not a commodity.
The staff at the Beverley store were all really friendly and helpful. I picked some glasses and Jane measured them up as well as ordering them for me. She was so lovely! Really warm, chatty and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend!
I was very pleased with the whole service from the start looking for the right glasses .the consultation ,and the fitting later .well Done Specsavers of Beverley
Been going to specsavers now for the past 10 years, and up until my last visit, everything was perfect. But recently when I went to pick up my new glasses, they had misplaced them. Was waiting for over 10 minutes when i also had work to go to. Not impressed but, the staff were understanding and kind.
My mother & i went to get our eyes tested and this time it was a sham they charged my mother who's an OAP full price for her test and glasses she hasn't complained but i told her to ring them to make them aware that they charged her full amount so we won't be using them again will go to vision express give them a try
Visited Sunday a. m 23rd Jan. Everything went well with sight test. I would like to say an extra thank you to Sam who helped me choose my new glasses. Sam listened to what I needed, then helped me choose 3 pairs. He was helpful and friendly, offered good suggestions and I didn't feel rushed or pressured at any time. It's worth saying that I usually leave after choosing 1 pair because I find the process stressful. If Sam is still there next time I need a new pair I'll make sure to ask for him.
Had my eyes tested and found that I needed new glasses. I ended up getting four pairs, one for normal wear, a pair for my bike, a pair purely for reading and a pair of prescription sunglasses. All except the readers were bi focal. The staff at the Beverley branch were friendly and helpful throughout. My glasses were ready within a fortnight, had them fitted during collection. All are very comfortable to wear and look pretty good too. Good value for money and a pleasant experience, highly recommended.
