The difference in the service between the first visit before payment and the second visit to collect the glasses after payment shows the level of respect and dealing with customers... We waited more than an hour to get the glasses, and during this time, more than 13 customers were served who came after us for the eye examination.
An absolutely flawless experience from start to finish. The staff were lovely, really excellent at their job and made me feel comfortable and informed from start to finish. Genuinely can't fault the store at all. Came away feeling confident about my sight, the health of my eyes and my new glasses!
I had a fantastic eye test at this store. The optometrist, Faatimah, was friendly and very clear at explaining each step of the test. The equipment is also very modern so I felt confident that my test was very thorough. There’s also a huge selection of glasses at great prices. I have already recommended this place to my friends and family.
Very happy with the service! Got an appointment at wheeler gate the very same day. First impressions we're great, I was greeted by a lovely chap on the check-in desk who explained the procedures. Within 2 minutes of sitting in the waiting room, I was called in to have some scans and to see the optician. All of the staff that dealt with me we're great and extremely helpful. will definitely be visiting this store again for my next appointment and would also recommend to anyone too!
All round fab! Was seen within minutes of entering the store. All of the staff were very friendly and Ben in particular was fantastic and helped me select new frames. Good value with the buy one get one free. Lots of choice for every budget. Highly recommended!

Incompetent and unreliable. Improper professional conduct. Provided wrong contact lenses different from the prescription without carrying out examination and didn’t even inform or admit let alone apologise or rectify.
Just wanted to thank the team working for my absolutely lovely experience visiting instore yesterday- it was the first time I have visited this branch, and I have never before seen such good experience in any other Specsavers before, and every member of staff was so friendly and helpful! You can tell that the team working love what they do, and I definitely did leave with a smile on my face! I wanted to thank Fauzia and Emily especially for their EXCEPTIONAL customer service! Fauzia was so thorough and professional in conducting my eye test and extremely helpful. And my interaction with Emily was lovely albeit a short one, but she was so friendly and genuine and informative- she made my whole day!! You can tell that the customer experience is at the forefront of this Specsavers, and it feels a bit silly to say but I am looking forward to my next appointment!
My experience at the store was very positive. Pre test with Alisha was thorough and explained carefully. The optometrist A Singh, carried out the test at a reassuring pace. My choice of frames and dispensing was done by Charlie who ensured the frames were suitable in colour and style. Every step was explained and the pricing of my choices. A big well done everyone
Impressive service today. I came in during quite a busy period to get the hinge tightened on the arm of my glasses and was told I'd be seen in 5-10 minutes but it was more like 3. Rhys identified the issue and checked they had stock of the design of my glasses if the fix didn't work - but he had it fixed it in a few minutes and my glasses feel a lot more secure now :-
