After a fabulous Italian cookery day before Covid we came back for a 'cooking with CHOCOLATE day' to celebrate my birthday. No pressure - just lots of laughs and chats with friends as we made 3 different cakes/puddings following the expert guidance from Carolyn. Thank you - we will return!
We have just had our daughter’s 8th birthday 12 kids in total with this cookery school. We can not rate it highly enough. Carolyn and her assistant Jane clearly have lots of experience with kids and were commanding and captivating. The kids were entertained for the full 2 hrs and came out beaming. My husband and I sat and read our books - not our usual experience of hosting kids parties! They each came away with 6 beautiful cup cakes and learnt 3 different methods of icing. Lovely party tea included. It was held at Terra Nova School all included in the very reasonable price. I was a bit concerned that a school it might be a bit sterile, however it was more like a country manor and there was nobody else on site Saturday afternoon and very easy with lots of parking. Would recommend this party to anybody.
Celebrating a special birthday, our group of four spent another fabulous day with Carolyn as she guided us through making some delicious sweet treats. A fun day with lots of laughs.Thank you Carolyn
Attended a Christmas Baking course here today and had to write my first review on here as I am so impressed at the well organised and enjoyable day we had with Carolyn learning how to actually make THE best pastry in the world, as well as lots of other tasty festive treats. Lunch was also part of the package and was beautiful; homemade quiche, salad, bread and lots of other home baked cakes for pudding. All served on vintage crockery with crackers and festive napkins. Carolyn was an exceptional hostess and teacher and we will definitely be returning. It was very reasonably priced for the day. We also enjoyed meeting lots of other lovely people on the course.
Lovely day spent with my family on the Italian cookery course led by Caroline . We all enjoyed the day and felt we had learned quite a few new skills whilst having fun and making some delicious food . Thank you Caroline
