I had my first cataract operation on Thursday 18/4/24 and I can honestly say the whole experience was fantastic. Everyone were extremely professional and really nice. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.nObviously I was nervous but it was over in 5-10 minutes. No pain, and I’m very happy. Not nervous at all about having my next one done.nTHANK YOU SPAMEDICA
I had cataract surgery beginning of October 2023 they found a condition with my eye but still did the surgery and I’ve had problems ever since, they discharged me with eye drops again! then in January 2024 I got referred by my optician because he wasn’t satisfied & referred me back to have laser surgery which has improved still not right but wish I had never had it done! I honestly think if everything goes alright at these clinics it’s fine but if you have problems the nhs have to then sort you out! It’s just a about money!
I was very nervous and truly felt silly afterwards as all the staff was amazing from entering the build to leaving everyone was so kind the surgery itself was quick and pain-free the surgeon talked to me all the time keeping me calm and I never felt anything and was surprised how quick it was if you need this surgery I highly recommend my vision is so much better and it is only 2 days thank you to all the staff at Spamedica Oldham
My Mum has recently had Cataracts removed from both eyes and she is delighted that she can see again. The service provided at Spa Medica in our hometown of Oldham is brilliant. Everyone from the Greeters at the door to the Surgeons are so kind, considerate and professional. If you need an eye operation and are worried or frightened, please don't be, the team here at the Oldham branch will look after you well & put you at ease. Thankyou to everyone involved in my Mum's care.
I took my neighbour who is 88 yrs old for 2 laser treatments on her eyes,she was very impressed with the staff and the service she received,friendly and treated with kindness and dignity,from the front door throughout her treatment,she would recommend this place to everyone
