Went to A & E on Saturday 4th Feb 2024nevening 11:30pm , My husband was really poorly , had difficulty breathing and in pain. Can’t thank the nursing staff and doctor enough who attended to him and did a number of tests . Thank you he is now on the mend .
Top class care on a number of occasions. I must make a special mention of Dr Charlotte who showed exemplary thoroughness and professionalism in arriving at a correct diagnosis
I am aware the NHS is collapsing and it is know fault of the staff, however, after taking my dad into hospital with chest pain and passing out multiple times, only to be sat on metal chairs for over 11 hours to be seen by a doctor.nnNurses and doctors were fine but they are overstretched and are not able to see people fast enough. People are on IVs and drips in the waiting area, no privacy whatsoever, clearly a push to privatise which is what the govt wants.nnIt makes you think you would rather suffer at home in an comfortable environment then in the waiting area of A&E at this rate.
Worst experience ever skull crushed to tile floor and in pain just touch where a head scan to make sure their no internal bleading. Should of just stayed at home and never bother what's the point of this service they never do anything anyway it pointless.
We had a very terrifying experience at emergency department in Oldham. My husband had extremely painful pain in his abdomen area later found out it was a kidney stones. We waited 9h overnight for just doctor to see him. Sat on metal chairs tired in extreme pain.nNight shift nurses were not helpful enough it looked like they don’t care to be honest. I underestand there is a lot of people to look after but they should sort out people who are in extreme pain first, which they say they are doing but in reality they aren’t.nNurses not saying the truth for example: I asked them when doctor will be able to see him, they are saying - you are on top of the list very soon but in reality it was like 3h later.nnAfter 12h beeing in Oldham on those metal chairs in extreme pain they transferred my husband to Manchester finally.nnIt happened on 13/09/23
